Repair Primary Electrical Distribution System
The Repair of Primary Electrical Distribution System’ project at Yakima Training Center demonstrates DLT Construction’s ability to manage specialized electrical projects. This project requires us to perform maintenance and repairs on 157 power poles. The scope of work includes replacing cut outs, replacing transformers, replacing poles, tightening hardware, adjusting switches, and many other maintenance items. This project is more difficult than a standard construction project because it requires a lot of coordination to allow for necessary power outages and road closures. It also requires extra attention to safety due to the nature of high voltage work and the fact that the majority of the work on this project is being completed while the lines are energized
